The Mailman Center provides outreach
training to over 5,000 individuals annually.
Areas of expertise include some of the
following: families with children who have
chronic health care needs, inclusionary
child care settings, ADA, assistive
technology, domestic violence, and health
care disparities.
Training programs often include online courses or Internet
accessible components. Currently, a new
online course is being offered that
encompasses training in interdisciplinary
teaming, family-centered care, and
self-determinism related to providing care
and service over the lifespan to individuals
with neurodevelopmental disabilities,
related disabilities, and their families.
