How to Access
Online Courses
Each online course can have up to three web pages associated with it; a Course Homepage, the online course on the Blackboard system, and, when provided, a text only version of the course.

The homepage provides information about the course, registration information and an enrollment form, as well as any new developments in the course, such as updated content, if the course is temporarily inactive due to upgrades, etc.

The course itself resides on the Blackboard web site. Blackboard is software and server system that provides hosting for many University of Miami online courses and provides the environment and vehicle for the course materials created and maintained by UM faculty and UM professionals. (For more information on Blackboard please see their company web site at: http://www.blackboard.com)
