The Mailman Center is
committed to providing the highest level of
clinical services in a family-centered and
culturally competent environment. Our consumer
satisfaction surveys suggest an exceptionally
high degree of satisfaction, and we use on-going
reports from consumers to continuously improve
our clinical services. We focus on children with
developmental delay or disability, though many
children with other special health care needs
receive services through our expanding programs.
The more than 13,000 consumer visits each year
provide the basis for advanced clinical
training, research, and the development of more
effective strategies for diagnosis and
treatment.
In an effort to meet the needs of children with
the most complex conditions, we collaborate with
other university departments and disciplines,
particularly within the Department of
Pediatrics. In addition to center-based
programs, Mailman Center faculty participate in
services provided throughout south Florida and
the Caribbean. In all cases, we strive to
provide exemplary interdisciplinary care.
Our main referral number is
305-243-6631.
